About Us

Q. Did you leave Love In The Margins?

Not at all! LITM was due for remodeling. I’m bringing the things that don’t fit back here to create a second space.

Q. Will you read my book?

Probably not? Never say never, but all media consumed at IMGB is chosen though random chance.

Q. Can I ask anyway?

Sure. Comments or chasing me down on Twitter are the most effective methods of contact.

Q. Do you host guest posts?

I’m open to it. We can talk.

Q. I’m interested in advertising!

Thanks for the offer, but we’re keeping it non-profit these days.

Q. Could you add purchase links?

I’m exploring links that would be open to multiple countries. I don’t have a time frame for that yet.

Q. Are you an author? Editor? Beta Reader? Do you make money from any aspect of publishing?

I am strictly a reader. If I wrote a Mission Statement it would be pretty close to this one.

Q. How do you get items you review?

I do receive advance or author copies for many of the books I review. I’ve filled out an FTC disclosure field for each item, but I need to figure out why the theme isn’t loading them. While I get sorted, if you have a specific item in mind, ask me!

    Greetings,

I read your review of Wes Moore’s The Other Wes Moore, and enjoyed it very much.

I am an author, and have written a trilogy about my life. Although it’s a fictional-memoir, it illustrates real aspects of early Hip Hop, history, and the American Experience not popularized by the mainstream media. I would be honored if you would read the first novel and give it an honest review.

If you are interested, I will send you a free copy. Please list your preference: a PDF or a paperback copy. Thank you so much.

    Sincerely,
    Tak Amaru

  2. Hi, I’m Constance (Connie) Gillam. You reviewed one of my book’s a few years back, Lakota Dreaming. I have an upcoming release and hoped you’d be able to review it.

Review Request – “WW II by P-38 Fighter”

    Hi there,

I’m writing on behalf of Lyndon Shubert, the author of the upcoming book “Brave & Funny Memories of WW II by a P-38 Fighter Pilot”.

I saw that you reviewed “Lost Destiny: Joe Kennedy Jr. and the Doomed WWII Mission to Save London” and I’m helping Lyndon with the launch of his book because he is 96 and in the late stages of Alzheimer.

It would mean the world to me and to him if you could join our launch team and leave a review at Veteran’s Day on Nov 11.

Please download your free review copy now at http://www.lyndonshubert.com. Not only will you get an advanced review copy, you’ll get some unique “extras” too.

In appreciation for your support to our veterans,
    Glenda
